Favorite Virtual Hang Out Spots #01

I used to use goodreads but I’d like to de-Bezos as much as I can. TheStorygraph is a super robust alternative! It’s also black woman-owned The founder is Nadia Odunayo.
Letterboxd – movie-logging.
This one is pretty popular nowadays. I was surprised to see how long it’s been around. I’m trying to watch more movies lately so it’s been fun to log stuff here and read quippy or earnest reviews. It also allows me to make lists and I looove making lists! hehehe
Serializd – tv-logging.
Very much like letterboxd but for series. It’s a bit buggy but I enjoy it and have hope it’ll improve with time. I watch shows more than I watch movies so I was excited to find this.
Backloggd – videogame-logging.
Yes, there were other ways to log video games, but I really like these Letterboxd-like websites! They work very well for how I like to organize things.
Listography –
Like I said, I love making lists. I LOVE IT. How did you know I’m autistic? I also love sifting through people’s lists and learning things. I’ve been having fun updating my lists this past week because the last time I used this was like in 2016.
Are.na –
Haven’t been coming here as much because I’ve almost exceeded my limit on the free account. But I love the vibes here! It’s basically like… pinterest’s younger hipster cousin that supports open source networking.
Tumblr –
I have... way too many sub-blogs.
You never know when websites like these will go dark! So it's always nice to have backups.
